Oakwood Premier Raffles Place Singapore

Absolutely a great location in the financial district to everything. Easy to get to the hotel from Changi airport by the MRT, which only cost USD $2.22 per person, which will save you quite a bit of money than others means of transportation. Take the MRT from the airport to the Tanah Merah MRT station, which is only two stops away, transfer to the East-West line (green), exit Raffles Place MRT Station. Hotel is one block away. Close to many attractions such as Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, Marina Bay Hotel & Casino, Chinatown, Boat Quay & Clarke Quay districts, and the iconic, historic Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre. If you like to walk like we do, this is the place to be as it is within walking distance to all of the above attractions, as long as the heat & humidity doesn't get to you first. The hotel staff was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C works well to keep the room cool. The only negative is that the room was a bit small by our standard. We most definitely would stay here again. Bonus, there is a garden rooftop, 51st floor, with great views of the city for free that is not advertised. Access hours are limited and reservations are required through the building management, not by the hotel. Reservations can be made online.

Great view of the city. Nice pool. Nice employee. Pretty central. Only problem. We reserved for 2 adult + one child but you get a two person room or you have to pay extra for the bed. Our fault however as we forgot to read the fine print. Luckily we always travel with a small travel matress so they where kind to give us linnen and pillow for it. Great hotel.

Great property, very convenient location, but no return communication via Expedia which was terrible
