One of the beds was poorly setup and broke when my daughter went to rest.

A truly wonderful place with quite the desert feel to it. We wanted to explore Joshua Tree National Park and were looking for something were we could stay as a couple plus two friends. The layout of the house is perfectly suitable for this with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything one can think of. We especially appreciated the wonderful espresso machine with grinder (bring your beans!!) - but there is also one with pods (some were provided). The place also had some essentials like salt/sugar/oil/dishwasher tablets which is great if you're only staying a couple of days (like us), so you don't have to buy a big pack of everything. We visited in October but it was still fairly hot, so the air conditioning was appreciated. We spent most of our time (when we were not in the park) on the patio and had a lovely BBQ. The owners gave us detailed instructions on how to use the house. Within half an hour drive you can get well into Joshua Tree National Park which is so amazing. We absolutely loved our stay.

We loved the beautiful desert landscaping outside, the hot tub under the stars, and we watched the sunset from the front patio. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the decor was beautiful and went with the desert location. We enjoyed exploring Joshua Tree. Both the west and north entrances were close. We also loved that we could bring our dogs.

Beautiful place and location.

While the property was perfect, I will never understand why, with a $175 cleaning fee Plus a non-refundable $50 pet fee, we are required to do any cleaning (take garbage to the off-site bin, run dishwasher, etc.). Can you imagine if hotels did this? Clearly this is not a complaint specific to this property.
