Ferryside is in the bustling heart of Kingswear, which is a gentle friendly bustle. It was great being able to walk across from the station (we came on the steam train - highly recommended!) to the flat. The ferry is just across the way, so everything at Dartmouth and beyond is handy. Also has the well-stocked Village Stores and Ebb & Flow cafe round the corner. The area is beautifully scenic and on the coast path, which was good for walking and jogging out. The flat itself is excellent - well furnished, clean, and everything needed on hand. Beds were comfy, showers good (excellent to have two bathrooms), decor nicely done. I enjoyed sitting out on the little veranda in the evening. We're missing the sound of the steam train coming in, a lovely stay!

We'd have swapped the bottle of bubbly for some local beer, but as hardships go, it wasn't a deal-breaker :D

Everything was superb, couldn't fault a thing, we stay in Dartmouth / Kingswear 5/6 times a year we've now found our favourite, first class.

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring both sides of the estuary. The lower ferry is right on the door step. The property is immaculate and has every thing you could need for a home from home stay. Excellent communication from Nick the host. Will definitely rebook.
