Perfect house for an extended family of three generations. Kids bunk room and playroom were excellent; adult wing with the three bedrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessities and plenty of dining space. We also could not make use of the media room due to lack of internet. (See below).Temperature was well over 100 degrees each day, so that limited the outside space use. Pool was nice early in the day and early evening; hot tub was not used, nor was the outside grill and kitchen and dining area.Only downside to the entire stay was that when we arrived the internet did not work. (We arrived Friday afternoon so while the host immediately called for service from the provider, that didn't happen until after the weekend, as we began to leave. Turns out that desert rats got into the exterior cable box and made a nest, eating through wires). Host responded and set up a limited hot spot for our use, but it really was insufficient, for four kids somewhat trapped by the heat to remain inside. Mike did respond and try to create a work-around; it just wasn't sufficient.Great host and nice house; if looking for a large family space this is a nice choice.

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Lots of ways to entertain us, putting green, corn hoe toss plus pool table and ping pong table in garage. Kitchen well stocked.

We really enjoyed much of our stay at Villa Antonietta—the home is stylish, well equipped, and offers beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains. It’s a peaceful, private setting that feels like a true getaway.That said, guests should be aware that being in a desert oasis also means sharing the space with desert wildlife. On our last night, we encountered a large diamondback rattlesnake coiled and hissing near the kitchen sliding door on the back veranda. It was unexpected and unsettling, and we had it removed by professionals.The host was responsive after our stay and mentioned plans to improve lighting and update the house manual, which is appreciated. Just a heads-up to future guests: If you’re uneasy around snakes or desert critters, it’s something to keep in mind when booking a stay in this otherwise lovely desert retreat.
