Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great, clean, a bit dated cabin to hang in while exploring the forest with kids and 4-legged friend. The place has everything one needs without excesses like jacuzzi or modern updates to appliances. There is no grill.

The cabin is well situated, less than 30 min from the Bear Valley ski resort. It's very clean, well equipped, and highly functional. We found it very spacious and it exceeded our expectations. Very clear and prompt communication with the host. We would definitely rent it again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our combined family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well equipped, very clean and had a lovely view. The neighborhood was very quiet and serene. The location is very near Calaveras Big Trees State Park and not too far from the Big Trees Market in Arnold. There are a lot of stairs (inside and out) so probably not ideal for elders or toddlers.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin, probably even better in the winter. Not quite enough windows for us, when you're in the woods one could use more natural light. The whole place feels very dark. Liked all the beds, however. Good place for a group.
