Was a nice, clean property within a reasonable distance to Emerald Isle public beach access. We appreciated

Pros: Great location to the beach whether walking or driving. We didn't really visit the sound, so I can't comment on that. The house was clean and fit our needs for our short stay. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The use of beach equipment was great as we didn't have to bring beach chairs on our 10 hour drive. Host responded promptly to messages. Cons: It was very hot/humid and the bugs were out in full force, so we didn't get to enjoy the outside as much as I would have liked to. There was no toaster, which made breakfast for the littles difficult.

Great communication from the host! The place wasn’t as clean as we were hoping and there was no beach umbrella which we were really counting on with little kids! The outdoor shower was great and easy walk to beach. Just think the place needs a little TLC!
