HOSTEL PORTON

Great rooms (all single beds no bunk beds) with power point outlets. Kitchen for cooking with all utensils. Nice comfortable beds with fresh bed linen, exactly as photos, even had a free towel. Bathroom and showers very modern.

Unfortunately the host agreed to a 1pm check in but failed to honour it after I arrived at 1pm (door was locked). He didn’t open until after 2pm, despite saying check in was 2pm. They don’t accept the Pilgrim Pass and take all information manually.

It is very close to the cathedral, in a quiet alleyway.

Not a thing

So nice to get a break from bunk beds while on the Camino. Each bed has a locker. It is super clean. The owner is super friendly. There is a kitchen and big table and even a coffee pot you can use in the morning. There is a super cute lounge room. The location is super close to a bunch of restaurants, catedral, and a portón. I felt safe walking around at night as a single female. For the reviews talking about flies, who cares? There are some tiny flies by some drains. The owner obviously takes care of this place and keeps it super clean. Shower and toilet are private and are great. It felt like a nice change from the typical albuergues. Highly recommend!! And again, no bunk beds!!!!

Nothing it was perfect.

too much noise from adjacent bar that was owned by same owner as hostel- noise until around 5 in the morning and light not turned off on hostel until midnight. all this distracted from otherwise good hostel.
