Stellar home for the view and for the ambiance of the property. Need to share maintenance issues for the sake of clarity…here goes, not enough of glasses for 9 people, pans were in sad disrepair, one burner of the stove didn’t work, bathrooms all need more hooks for towels, lower bedrooms need to have at least a bedside table, coat rack for entering from the garage would be helpful, the bunk room closet was a disaster, beverage coasters would be helpful to protect the stands. Also I would love to have had a chair in the master bedroom suiteI

Lovely spacious home. The AC wasn’t working the first night and there were no fans and limited windows to open so it was a very hot first night. After communication the first night and next morning with Meredith Lodging, they sent some people who got the AC working and brought some fans. With comfortable airflow, it was a very nice place and great views.

Come for the view! Neighborhood about 5 minutes from the action by car. Good place to just chill and enjoy the views of the Oregon coast. Deer, eagles and all kinds of wildlife to enjoy. A few broken or non-working items in the house but nothing that wrecks your stay.

Pros: Good location, clean (except for carpet on stairs leading to lower level), excellent views, comfortable beds, good climate control. We stayed 7 nights.Cons: Things in the house are old, tired, and breaking down or already broken, not what you would expect for this amount of money. I am referring to: 1. Non-working fireplace, built-in oven and one of 4 burners on cooktop 2. Pots & pan were all old and flaking 3. No sink stoppers for kitchen sink to hand wash dishes 4. BBQ Grill rusted out, dirty and barely functional 5. Hall bath sinks not draining, cabinet door under kitchen sink sagging badly. 6. Outside garage lights and oven lights burnt out 7. Hot Tub old. Somewhat working as water was hot but maybe 50% of the spa jets worked, a few knobs falling off or missing 8. Meredith Lodging, the management company, did not address or correct any of these items during our stay. Many apologetic texts and promises to come to premises but no one ever came, except on third night when I turned on the hose faucet at the garage to clean off my boots and the faucet could not be turned off. Eventually, someone was sent and was able to turn off the water.
