"If you are looking to escape reality and completely unplug, Ukutula Resort is the perfect sanctuary. Located just 11km outside of Dullstroom, this hidden gem is nestled between peaceful pine forests and beautiful dams. The highlight of the experience is the absolute peace and quiet. There is no Wi-Fi, no signal, and zero technology—allowing you to fully reconnect with nature. The resort is entirely off the grid (even the fridge runs on gas!), so leave your hairdryers and gadgets at home. You will, however, definitely need a 4x4 or a high-clearance vehicle to navigate the road to get there. The self-catering units are incredibly well-equipped and cozy, featuring a lovely indoor fireplace for chilly evenings. Outside, there is a great braai area and fire pit, and the resort generously supplies all the firewood you need. Spen your days walking through the forest or trying your hand at bass fishing. If you can't survive without your phone, TV, or laptop, this might not be the place for you. But if you want to leave the world and its problems behind for a few days, Ukutula is pure heaven. The view was good. Quite place to go and rest.

The road to the place is very bad. There is Zero cell phone signal. There is no electrical points in the facility. If there is a health emergency, you are in trouble, as it takes an hour to travel 8km on that road before you reach the road to town.
