Right in the thick of it! Large rooms, reasonably clean, good location. Electronic locking is fabulous

The stairs are steep and the gates at the bottom a little tricky when suitcases are in play.

Location location location!

Can be a little noisy at night with the pub traffic but the supplied ear plugs for sleeping worked just fine!

Location and view of St Giles Cathedral

No lifts

Location fine.

Now I’m normally fussy but the following needs to be addressed: plug doesn’t seal in hand basin, shower/bath slippery needs a mat, no grab handle for support in that area, trying to watch tv, hopeless. Internet connection kept failing, couldn’t watch hardly anything. Window catch in bedroom didn’t hold. On my booking was given address, which was then given to pickup from airport. Arrived at location at same time as Spanish couple. Fellow took my case up to room and tried code, didn’t work. Looked at latest email saying stay was at another address up the road. WHAT!!! So off we travelled the Spanish fellow and he helped me into my room, FINALLY. Had I not had this help would have been disastrous. Totally not acceptable. But would say appartment was nicely appointed.
