Island Breeze Motel

We stayed here while my daughter was playing in the Battle on the Beach Flag Football Tournament, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. The man and woman at the front desk were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. I wish I had gotten their names so I could recognize them personally! The gentleman even gave my dog a toy, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The motel is pet friendly and had free parking which was a huge plus. We had a great stay and are already planning to come back before the end of the summer. We’ll definitely be staying here again. The only thing I’d mention is to be cautious with the shower water. In Room 11, the hot and cold labels appeared to be reversed, so turning the handle toward “cold” made the water extremely hot, while turning it toward “hot” made it cold. Once we figured it out, it wasn’t a big issue, but it could be confusing for other guests. The water gets extremely hot and could easily cause a burn if someone isn’t expecting it. I wanted to mention it so the staff can hopefully get it fixed for future guests.

We stayed here for the battle on the beach flag football tournament. The hotel was clean, a block from the boardwalk and dog friendly. We will definitely be staying again!

Overall the place is an excellent location. Quick walk to boardwalk. Room was clean and definetly more homey than a standard hotel room. Tv didn’t work which was fine we didn’t really need it and the AC was loud but working… it was 100 degrees out so understandable. Great view of the fireworks off the deck. Also the poo is nice size and has small kiddie area sectioned off which was great for my son.

The hotel was better than I thought. The pool was great. Didn't interact with anyone but the front desk and he was very helpful I would definitely go back there again
