Vico dell' Elce

This is a unique property. The rooms are very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. It is in a great location. Close to important sites. Vico dell’ Elce is a beautiful, minimalist, contemporary space in a very old building. It is special. Rosario was a wonderful host.

Struttura elegante e raffinata, confortevole, accogliente, progettata sui principi dell'architettura sostenibile; un gioiellino all'interno di un edificio storico con delle volte meravigliose, arredo lineare e ricercato. Dotata di ogni comfort ci si possa attendere da un B&B di alta fascia. Pulizia eccellente, curata nei minimi dettagli. Posizione eccellente a max 5 min a piedi dal centro. Grandi disponibilità di parcheggio gratuito (ho lasciato l'auto ferma per 3 giorni e mi sono goduta Lecce a piedi). L'host Rosario, preciso, attento, organizzato gentile e disponibile. Avevo prenotato due notti e mi è servita una terza dopo aver lasciato la struttura e Rosario in pochissimi minuti (data la disponibilità) mi ha reso la camera disponibile, fornendomi un servizio prezioso e tempestivo (mi ha salvata il weekend). Colazione squisita, basta prenotarla la sera prima e Rosario ti fa trovare le migliori prelibatezze delle pasticcerie leccesi. E' possibile consumare la colazione anche un un magnifico cortile silenzioso e rilassante avvolti dalle mura storiche del palazzo. Da architetto quale sono, girando spesso per lavoro in varie città, raramente ho trovato questa qualità così trasversale su struttura posizione e servizi. Ritornerò di certo!! Assolutamente consigliato!

This is a very unique property within a few minutes walk to Lecce Old town. The room was small but comfortable, nicely updated and super clean! The host was very friendly, gave us recommendations for dinner place and made us feel welcomed!

Street parking was difficult to find

Location was quite good. Beds were ok. Shower and bathroom were ok. The airy open space between rooms was nice. The owner was willing to help us cut a melon that we bought for breakfast. He also eventually waived the cost of changing fresh towels and floor mats for us. Owner also came to meet us for an early check-in.

1. The quilt on the bed was too small for the bed. Rooms were really small, nowhere to put our luggage. 2. No drinking water provided. Would have been good to provide water as it is an essential amenity. 3. Breakfast was strictly 1 coffee and 1 pastry per person. Additional pastries and coffee were charged on a per piece and per cup basis. We ended up supplementing our breakfast with our own fruits and biscuits. 4. The extra charge of 4 Euros for request of change of bath towels. Our suggestion: It is better if you charge 15 or 20 Euros more per night and “absorb” all of the above as part of your cost.
