Follow The Rabbit Bungalow

Amazing property, super clean and quiet. The staff was absolutely amazing and made the stay so much better. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach. An incredible stay.

Everything! From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. We were given cold towels and a welcome drink, followed by a very useful 10-minute introduction to Gili Air, with recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat. We had a scooter and followed most of their recommendations. And honestly, they couldn’t have been better. The place is super clean and well looked after, the breakfast is lovely, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. They also rent bikes, and you can borrow snorkelling equipment for free, which is great as some of the best turtle spots are very close by and easily accessible on foot. We also loved the garden, with rabbits and guinea pigs wandering around freely, plus a very friendly cat! It gave the place a really lovely, relaxed atmosphere. There isn’t a swimming pool, which would have been nice for cooling down in the heat. However, this is reflected in the very fair price, and you can always swim in the sea or use the pool at another hotel by buying a drink. So honestly, it wasn’t a big issue for us.

The bungalow was lovely, and the staff were exceptional - some of the kindest people I've ever met, always attentive and doing their best to fulfill my requests. The owner gave me a very detailed introduction to the island: where to snorkel, the best spots for sunrise and sunset, well-known warungs, local dishes to try, and even where to find ATMs. When I mentioned I'd gotten sunburned, she brought me aloe vera for free without me even asking. The place is peaceful and very close to the beaches, and the cats (including grumpy Momo), guinea pigs, rabbits and a tokay gecko add to its charm. There are also handy amenities: bike rental, laundry service and free snorkeling gear. One tip: bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Nights come with the usual island soundtrack - roosters crowing before dawn, the call to prayer, the occasional late-night partygoer, and that tokay gecko. I highly recommend Follow the Rabbit!

Nothing really - lovely place, lovely people. As mentioned above, consider using earplugs.

Calm area so a good night sleep garanteed - however a bit far from all services. Cute bunnies in the yard. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

The restroom was not so clean and modern. There was a big dead bug in the bathroom and lots of ants eating it.
