Tikiri Latha Hanthana

I had a wonderful stay at Tikiri Latha Hotel, Kandy, with my family. The entire experience was very pleasant and satisfying. All the staff members were extremely friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the food was delicious, with excellent quality. The hotel offers a calm, peaceful, and quiet environment, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy quality time with family. I truly appreciate the hospitality and excellent service provided by the hotel staff. I highly recommend Tikiri Latha Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and enjoyable stay in Kandy. We would be happy to visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful experience at Tikiri Latha Resort! The place is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing, with an absolutely breathtaking view of the Hanthana Mountains. 🌿⛰️ The hospitality was outstanding. The owner is extremely friendly, supportive, and accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The staff also took excellent care of us and were very flexible with our needs. One thing we really appreciated was that they welcomed our pet without any hesitation, which made our experience even more special. The food was absolutely amazing — honestly, some of the tastiest food we’ve had compared to many other places. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the service was incredibly quick. We received our food just a short time after ordering, without compromising on taste or quality. From the warm hospitality of the owner to the delicious food, excellent service, and stunning mountain views, everything made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing food, friendly people, and a pet-friendly environment. We would definitely love to visit again! ❤️

I loved the beautiful big windows with a beautiful view over the green hills. The owner is a wonderful and open person. He is very easy to talk to, which transformed my stay into a wonderfull experience. I definitely recommend. And it's just next to Kandy with a tuk tuk.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

There are few rooms in this guesthouse. Everything is new and clean. However, the photos not always correspond with any particular room, they are mixed. Some rooms have AC, some dont, while some others have windows and the others...dont. I was given room without AC, but with good view (and big window) Ok, so to the point, pluses: - everything new and clean - the view from my room was great - just like on the photos - in my room big windows, lots of daylight - above there is restaurant with good Sri Lankan food for normal prices - friendly stuff in the restaurant - the owner, Jay, speaks perfect English. So you have that rare opportunity to actually talk with someone from Sri Lanka that can say something more than "hello". - guesthouse is located in nice area in mad-city Kandy. With better air quality and some areas to walk (if you dont mind stray dogs around)

With so many pluses, my stay there wasn't good though. - the room and area where the rooms are located, doesnt have proper sound isolation. You hear a lot of noise (I slept/ stayed in worse places though), like barking dogs (im pretty sure the different ones that I gave food to :P), doors being opened and closed and so on - terrible materace that didnt give proper support for the back during sleeping. Hence, I slept really bad there. - for me hotel room should be oasis of tranquility, that separates you from the outside Sri Lankan "madness", like heat, noise, hassle. Especially in the busy and polluted city like Kandy. This wasnt the case though here. Maybe if you are less sensitive or younger/ drunk, you wont notice it all. But I did. greetings!
