Hotel - Kulla e Zenel Beut

This is a beautiful hotel in a restored historic building just a few minutes from the centre on foot. There is information about the hotel’s history in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the room decoration in traditional style was just fabulous. The bed was really comfortable too, which I really appreciated. Parking was right at the hotel and the breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place with lots of charm and probably the best restaurant in town! We tried a few other places, but honestly, they weren’t worth it e.g. Seven Summit. The staff were very helpful and organised a taxi for us to Reka e Allagës. If you’re hiking the Peaks of the Balkans, I would recommend taking a taxi directly to Liquenat and starting your hike from there. Because much of the trail before that point follows roads rather than proper hiking paths in the forest. If you’re a runner, it’s a different story — this section could be a nice, easy run with gentle elevation, although around 70% is on asphalt. In general, it’s very easy to organise taxis, transfers and luggage transportation in this area. Just speak to the receptionist and they can arrange everything for you.

Breakfast was way too salty and would be better to start it earlier as most of guests are hikers.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and every member of staff was genuinely friendly, attentive, and committed to ensuring a pleasant experience. The warm, family-like atmosphere made us feel at home from the very beginning. The breakfast was very good, the service was outstanding, and convenient parking was available for guests arriving by car. The staff were always willing to help and went above and beyond whenever possible. Highly recommended!
