Bicycle Hotel Amsterdam

The Bicycle Hotel was a great place to stay, location was best reached by Metro to Le Pijp. The three staff we met were all so friendly and welcoming, so helpful. Breakfast was cereal, toast, fruit, cheese, eggs. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The stairs are extremely steep and narrow, I managed with a bad knee injury but we only went up once a day as it was quite difficult. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.

A good hotel in the city centre. Everything is within walking distance. There’s a tube station, shops, cafés and a market nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly – they’ll help with any queries and let you use the fridge and microwave, which is very handy. Also there’s the most delicious Italian ice cream on the corner!

We were looking for a place with character, and we found one. The hotel is located in an area with a very local atmosphere, just a five-minute walk from a metro station and close to several restaurants with terraces that filled up with locals in the evenings.

Really, the only complaint concerns the staircase, which is very steep—typical for the area.
