Electra Palace Rhodes - Premium All Inclusive

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we knew we were going to have a good time. The welcome we received at check in was wonderfully warm and efficient. The property was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely room (we were in a garden facing room on the ground floor of the annexe with a private garden and separate sitting room). The food was exceptional. The buffet was varied with something for everyone. We ate in all of the à la carte restaurants (Greek, Italian and Wine bar). All excellent with friendly service. Our room cleaner (I think her name was Donna) couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely lady. The hotel vibe is split very much between the pool side and the beach side. The pool is very lively with music and activities. The beach side is much quieter and relaxing, so you have a choice. The hotel is also a very short transfer from the airport which was welcome after a long flight. Excellent WiFi.

The beach is very rocky, but I knew that when I booked. Take aqua shoes if you want a swim. The noise from overhead aircraft was quite loud, but you quickly get used to it. Not much to see in the town itself, so it’s best to take the hotel shuttle into Rhodes Town for some sightseeing and culture. 9 euro return.

Very comfortable rooms, excellent staff. Nice pool area, Good food.

Nothing much else in area.

Food and drink was pretty bad other than the salad bar
