The sauna is very nice and a great extra. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate, and the breakfast was also good with a decent selection.
The hotel as a whole feels quite dated and could use some renovation. The owner was sometimes difficult to understand and could come across as a little abrupt. We also received the access information for Wasserwelt Wagrain quite late by email, which meant we couldn’t make use of it straight away. Overall, we felt the hotel was rather expensive for what it offers.

The locaion was good, a couple of meters from the ski shuttle. Breakfast was super good, clean, new bathroom and cozy bed. It was warm inside.

We were on our trip to Zagreb and stopped here for the night. The very friendly owner was waiting up for us and another family to let us in very late at night. The breakfast was fine and the atmosphere in the breakfast room with all the people who had stopped there for the night was vibrant and nice.
The hotel is dated, not in the hip retro upscaled hipster way but the real thing from way back 1970s and 80s. It did not bother us at all. Actually we liked it!
