Beautiful, large bedroom and bathroom. With a gorgeous ceiling. From there you can walk everywhere.
Not a fault of the property, but as it is right next to the Duomo you hear the cathedral bells ringing and it’s very loud.

Adelaide House is at a perfect location. Easy walking distance to the train station, in the middle of plenty of restaurants and cafe and right next to the Duomo. The bathroom was small but very clean and new. I even loved the old staircase to reach the hotel. It had air conditioning which was perfect to cool down with after lots of sightseeing on a warm day.
The bed was hard but saggy at the same time with strange a slightly grungy bedspread. The fridge made strange noises all night so had to be switched off. And the lighting was extremely harsh

Great location. Comfortable and clean. Responsive host. Small room and bathroom but contained all the essentials for a short stay.
I didn’t realize that all the rooms required a 3 floor walk up. Glad I brought a smaller suitcase. Someone with lots of luggage might find it difficult to get into and out of the lodgings unless they were very fit.

The location is incredible. If that's your only criteria, you will love it.
The host was super nice and responsive.
No possibility to leave your back a few hours after checking, which is a big blocker.
The room's equipment and confort is fairly below average. The bathroom was especially bad: the bidet was facing the toilette but there's only 30cm between them, everything was rusty, the shower didn't close properly, the hairdryer has zero power, they provide shampoo but no soap.
This makes the room absurdely over priced
