Oldwell Hotel

It is directly on the beach so there is no better than waking up and sleeping literally next to the beach. I was there from july 7 to 12. Plus the staff is formidable very welcoming, very helpful in everything not only related to the hotel but to the whole trip in tropea. Best staff i have delt with especially that i work in tourism these people knew how to get further recommendations and best stay.

It is not about the property more than there some guys who literally if you are 1m outside of the free beach of the hotel they ask you 15 euros per person for umbrella and sun bed and i found this very annoying because i’m a hotel guest 1m is not the end of the world and they were rude that was what pissed me off

Superb location, comfortable room with air conditioning and good breakfast

This hotel is a jewel. It's blessed with It's beautiful beach with the most turquoise and clear waters. Better than a swimming pool. That's why it was my second visit! Beautiful views during the day and at night from everywhere including the open restaurant. Wonderful breakfast and great food for dinner. Snacks and drinks were good as well. Two thumbs up for the staff, especially Arianna, Domenica, and Vienda at the reception. Vienda was very helpful with any questions or issues that we had upon arrival and took good care of us. We stayed at one of the suites and was well worth it. Loved the view, the balcony and the comfortable bed and bathroom. I could have stayed an extra week.

There were some glitches with the air conditioner but it was taken care of. The electricity went out a few times, and the water stopped at least once. But all and all we were very pleased with our stay.

The beach was really nice

The food was so so . The rooms for sure needed the bathroom to be updated and maybe decorated, the beds were for me uncomfortable and we didn’t know we needed to pay for a beach towel or for the lounge chairs on there so what private beach
