Check in was seamless and quick. Reception staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was large, spotlessly clean and the provided incidentals were standard fare. Bed was comfy and warm. Staggering distance from Mac's Hotel :)
Shower had a persistent drip which couldn't be resolved. Luckily we were exhausted from coming off the GSWW or it could have been an issue as we could hear it through the wall. Notified staff and were very apologetic though.

Location was good. The room was a good size and the new split system was great considering I had no hot water and minimal bed coverings.
I stayed on a very cold day/night and there was no hot water for my shower at night and the bedding was very sparce. I had to keep the heater turned up all night, luckily I was staying alone and could double the bed covers over. There was no extra blankets and the doona was very thin.
There was a very strong smell of bleach and some other strong fragrance when I first got there, I had to open windows to air it out but it was freezing cold. I then tried to close the windows and had to go out side to shove them shut as they wouldn't close.
