The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to all your needs. We loved the surprise fruit bowl delivery to our room at the start of our stay. The rooms were very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. The pool was excellent. The food was excellent.

I think if you have a fridge in the room, if not a mini bar, please at least provide a coupe of bottles of complementary water. We also had issues with the water running cold in the shower - not once but every time. It eventually became warm and enjoyable [maybe everyone showering at the same time of the morning?] At least the climate is so hot, it wasn't that bad an experience. We also had a loose tile in our shower floor, but that was collected, so I think the intention was to have it fixed.

Mixed feeling on staff: some staff (esp. Concierge and restaurants) are meet our expectations as what 5-star hotel/resort should provide for, while some others are working as routine (under-staffed thus resulting over-working or under-training?, ie. We were asked by Room Service team whether the villa could be cleaned at 10am, so to vacate the villa to cleaning, however, room service team visited only by 4.30pm when we were back from outside to rest, so to vacate to clean at 5.30pm), we are not sure but overall experiences are not met. Villa can be maintained further, where there have some rotten woods on rooftop at swimming pool, swimming pool can see green molds, trees and plants around pools are not properly maintained, stepping on parquet flooring can hear cracking sound), etc. Last but not least, Sofitel Sentosa is leaving 1 restaurant (same for buffet breakfast) and 1 bar, while all others are closed (not sure whether all other restaurants are under renovation). The limitation of choice of restaurants and its remote location (with hazy condition) is worried us on our every meal.
