Hostal Linares

Excellent location and a comfy bed , a perfect stop right on the Camino Del Norte. The cafe downstairs makes an excellent breakfast and coffee and nearby restaurants are excellent for dinner . We also enjoyed a day at the nearby beach .

This property was right in the city center, close to everything, right on the Camino route and upstairs from a churros place - so yummy. The room, though basic, was comfortable and affordable. I would stay here again.

No hairdryer in room

Good location, comfortable bed, hot shower.

Staff was not helpful when I didn't fully comprehend what was said. They were curt, short and disdainful with me. Whether it was because I was a pilgrim, a tourist or an American I don't know but they weren't going to take the time to be helpful. The waiter at the restaurant was similarly not interested in being helpful. They were busy so I understand the difficulty but if they don't like pilgrims, tourists, non Spanish speakers (My Spanish is pretty good) Americans or old white dudes then maybe they shouldn't cater to them and take their money.
