Matteo and Antonella were great hosts. Antonella cooks & bakes very well, & she was always available to help or offer recommendations about the surrounding area. Antonella even helped my partner & I get a reservation to go shooting at a gun range next to the agriturismo. The place is very EXTREMELY clean, quiet, spacious, & homey. It was a great getaway from the craziness of life, & we were very comfortable.

Important: The road is OK. It is a dirt road, but without a problem even for city cars. Google/waze tends to guide you through extreme country roads. You must come from the main road SP9 between Collesano and Campofelice di Roccella and turn at 37.9331125N, 13.9137444E. Great "feeling" of the country side accomodation. Mateo is very kind, but it feels weird having an 80year old man "serve" you. Collesano offers some amazing spots for dining, coffee etc. Mateo fetched us dinner even with our late arival (8:30 pm). It was simple, but tasty 4 course meal for cca 30E/pp. I believe food would be even better, if the chef was there. There is the best dog - Kiss.

Breakfast was simple. I would prefer to eat in Collesano.

Antonella (property manager) was there to meet us upon arrival. She showed us around our apt. and the property. Told us about the area and informed us she's just a phone call away if we need anything. A lovely border collie stood watch outside our apt door during the night :-) and Antonella showed up early the next morning (at our request) to prepare a delicious breakfast using homemade and local ingredients. She told us where we could get the fresh made bread in town so we made a stop there before leaving town. Paolo (of Sano&Gustoso bakery) had not only excellent bread but also wonderful cookies! Thanks again for a great stay1

A little bit off the beaten track but that was fine for us. Not for those who want to be within walking distance of a restaurant.
