Convenient location great restaurants amazing service

The property was beautiful. The lobby and views were gorgeous. Family friendly. The pool area was great, lots of chairs available and the 3 hot tubs were amazing. And the water slide of course! The bar at the pool had great service and super convenient for ordering lunch poolside. Tons of clean towels and ice water available. The room was standard, could be a little loud at times like any hotel. Thankfully everyone was respectful at nighttime and we were able to get decent sleep. My only somewhat negative remark is that the rooms were located on the opposite end of the resort from the pool with stairs leading straight to the pool. However, we had a stroller and the stroller/wheelchair ramp was located pretty far from the pool entry. You had to walk back to the lobby, take an elevator, walk through the restaurants outdoor seating (which there is no clear path so lots of bumping into tables/chairs and umbrella stands), then the ramp is on the perimeter of the resort to enter the pool. You definitely get your steps in! Obviously that’s a very particular situation for us with a stroller but also thinking of those in wheelchairs who have to get themselves down there. Also, no clear signs on where to find the ramp. The food was good at Sandy’s. The stores in the little shopping area were sometimes opened and sometimes closed. Never really had set hours it seemed. But the location was beautiful, easy access to Tahoe City and Truckee. We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing resort. Beautiful rooms with amazing views. Grounds are beautiful and excellent dining and spa options. Highly recommend.
