The Black Swan Lee - Lenox, an Ascend Collection Hotel

As of late we have been traveling with our small dog. Most hotels that accept pets you end up in the most dinghy room and not kept well. Not here the room was clean well kept and no odor.

It’s best to have a lakeside room, as sitting in the little porch can be quite peaceful. We met a new friend from England as a result. Also, breakfast is included, which was not made clear.

I found the staff very helpful, especially the young man who worked over night. We experienced a slight problem, and he could not have been nicer. He represented the hotel extremely well. Breakfast was uninspiring but generally good. The view from the breakfast room is lovely. The common areas seem a little tired, but the room was very good value - especially as we overlooked the lake. The location is wonderful for Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge, all the cultural centers and the Mass Pike. A beach is adjacent for swimming. We plan to return next year.

A wonderful stay not far away on a lake in the Berkshires with a copious breakfast buffet. The staff is very professional, helpful, delightful. Spectacular natural surroundings, cultural activities, and great restaurants make for a wonderful getaway. We didn't see beavers, but we did see fishermen catching nice sized trout... and Momma black bear and two cubs on a back road! Gifts from nature!
