Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem

Quaint yet modern. Central yet quiet. Love this place. The staff was very helpful too.

We really liked the Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem. Sophie at the front desk is AMAZING! She was so helpful and speaks English really well. She helped us with navigating an issue that we could not figure out ourselves since we don’t understand or speak French. We were so grateful for her kindness! As for the hotel itself, it is an older hotel and looks a little tired but we liked the old quirkiness of it. We stayed in what they called the “chamber room”. It was in the basement and looked like an old cellar. It had a garden terrace that was only accessible from this one room. The terrace garden was overgrown but it was charming. We thought it was a fun room to stay in. We will need to go back to Montpillier next spring and we will probably book the same room again.

Loved the stay overall. Room had a view of the cathedral, great location. Wonderful restaurants very nearby. Staff were great. Some tired features like a very worn sofa in the room and worn / dirty carpet up the stairs. Very happy overall
