Excellent staff

I chose this hotel because it was advertised as having an airport shuttle and breakfast. I found out that you have to make arrangements to use this service and there is a $10 charge. It would have been nice if this was clearly stated. I paid cash, but was not given a receipt. I will be checking my credit card to make sure I am not double-charged. The room was clean, but the metal rails in the bathroom were rusting and the ceiling had something black on it--I'm hoping not mold. I saw 2 cockroaches on the floor and one on the TV stand. After I was checked in, someone opened my room. They had been given a key card and my room number. Glad that happened during the day and not at night. Breakfast: At 6:50 am, there was one yogurt, 3 boiled eggs, & milk in the fridge; a pancake machine & syrup; cold cereal; instant oatmeal & grits. No fruit. No sugar for coffee -- I asked, but they didn't have any, only sweet & low. I ate a yogurt & a boiled egg. More people came down, but they never restocked the food. A lady came down & noticed the 2 empty bowls in the fridge and asked the person at the desk and they said they didn't have any more. This is about 7:10 am!
