Chateau On The Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center

Loved the view from the balcony and the convenient location with a spa at the facility. The resort does need quite a few upgrades.

Chateau still has its charm.

The property and view are beautiful. Lots to do! A couple of pretty big issues. We were given someone else's room to start then given the wrong room for our cards, then we were finally given the right room. A minor inconvenience. But the main reason we chose this hotel is that the website said that after 10, the pools are 18+. We were excited to go into the pool after 10. When we went to the pool, it was closed. When we asked staff they said it always closes at 10. We showed them their website where it said it. They left to talk to someone, when they came back the website had changed. If we had known that was the case, we would have just gone to holiday Inn, rather than pay what we did for our room. Its literally the only reason we chose this hotel. So, we just slept in a really expensive bed, is how we feel.

The only complaint that I have is that the cost of the grill was more than I was expecting. But than again food cost in the area is really high. $66 for 2 med. Pizzas after tip. From Pizza Hut
