Good stay, everything was clean, staff was nice

Our room was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The property was kept very nest and clean..We will be staying there again on our next trip to Rockport, Tx. Our thanks to the staff for making our stay a great experience.

The hotel is in a great location if you're walking to the beach. It was cool to see that there are grills available ven though we didn't use them. The shower looked like it had been renovated since it looked pretty nice. We had breakfast one day and it was ok. More options would have been nice. Great location, clean place.

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Rockport, TX for five nights and had multiple issues throughout my stay. The biggest concern was the lack of housekeeping. During the entire five-night stay, no one came to clean the room, take out trash, replace towels, or check in at all. We had to manage everything ourselves, which is not acceptable for a hotel stay. There were also several maintenance issues, including a poorly working bathroom faucet, a broken lamp, and a broken closet. Another major issue was the breakfast. While some items were available (milk, coffee, cereal, yogurt, bread, and waffles), it did not meet what is advertised or expected. We planned our trip and budget around having breakfast available daily, as we have experienced in previous stays, and this caused additional out-of-pocket expense. When I brought these concerns to staff during the stay, I was given excuses related to overbooking. However, when I spoke with the manager at checkout, she acknowledged that these issues should not have happened and advised me to escalate the matter to Wyndham directly. Overall, this stay did not meet expected standards and created unnecessary inconvenience for my family.
