Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort by Marriott

Overall, our stay at the Hacienda Del Mar Los Cabos was highly enjoyable, though it's clear the property is still in transition. While it is now part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, the current standards still fall a bit short of what you might typically expect from the brand. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, I would still absolutely recommend this all-inclusive property—just don't head into it expecting JW Marriott luxury. The resort boasts a beautiful, picturesque location right on the beach. However, keep in mind that the ocean here is entirely non-swimmable. You cannot enter the water, so come prepared to spend your time lounging by the pools rather than wading in the surf. The onsite restaurants were consistently solid across the board. The standout culinary experience of our trip was definitely Del Cortez. Note: There is a $35.00 USD surcharge per person to dine here, even on the all-inclusive plan. Is it worth it? Yes. The incredible beachside ambience, stunning views, high food quality, and attentive service make the extra fee well worth it for a special night. The absolute highlight of this resort is the staff. From the front desk and pool servers to the restaurant waiters, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like part of their family. A fantastic option for families and Bonvoy members looking for great service and a beautiful property, as long as you understand the ongoing brand transition.

I highly recommend this resort. The customer service was fantastic, the food is amazing, De Cortez is well worth it and the property is very clean and scenic. The layout is chaos but that’s the fun part. Walk around everywhere. It’s fun because it’s unique. You will not see many places like this.
