the hotel is great, just be aware that the surrounding streets smell bad and sometimes boys drinking beer on the sidewalks can shout at you as you walk by.

Very convenient location for public transport to the football stadium.

Less than 5 minutes from metro station. Only a couple of metro stops to the velodrome stadium. Staff are friendly and decent Parisian breakfast. Pretty good for free breakfast deal and under $100

Ive come to Marseille to visit my friend.
For my stay, I wanted a hotel tjat was quite close to Saint Charles station and was an affordable proce.
I booked Ibis via hotel.com and it disappoint. I arrived in the evening. The receptionist was very friendly , spoke good english and was very helpful.
The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat offering cereals, toast, pastries, coffee and juices.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. *5 all the way!
