Exterior somewhat dilapidated. Trouble with key card not working (staff said card was carried too close to a phone - not a problem at other hotels). Room was clean and reasonably cared for

The room was spotless as was the rest of the property. Staff were helpful and friendly. The basic bed, bath, breakfast we expected was exceeded. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings adequate. The a/c was quiet and kept the room at the temperature we wanted. The grounds were well kept but the building exterior could use a coat of paint. Overall this was a good spot to use as a base to go exploring.

The property is a bit run down and it’s a bit of a ways to Indy proper but it’s a good hotel for the price

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but the bathroom was old and in need of an upgrade. That said, the water pressure was good. It was a quiet at night and they gave a great indoor pool.
