Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago Libertyville

It was nice

It was very convenient to have a full size refrigerator and kitchen amenities available. The room was large and clean. The blackout curtains were amazing. The bed was comfortable and my stay was enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was a hitch during check in. I had called ahead to alert them of my late arrival, which was not noted in the computer, or possibly missed by overnight staff, resulting in my reservation being canceled as a no call no show. Frustrating at 2 am when I had to rebook a room I'd already paid for and had called ahead to prevent that very situation. Thankfully the situation was remedied and the reservation reinstated the following day with no further issues. The day of check out the weather was dangerously hot and Leah was making sure everyone was staying hydrated. Despite the initial inconvenience, I highly recommend this location for a stay.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. They were short on staff so we had to go get our own towels.

All is good.....No further comments at this ime. Thanks!
