Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel Astoria

Room was clean, pool stayed open 24/7, laundry was cheap and easy to use, and breakfast was good.

I recently stayed at this property, having visited many times when it was a Comfort Suites. Since the takeover by Best Western, I noticed that the rooms have been beautifully remodeled and were spotlessly clean. The free breakfast was a fantastic perk that really started my day off right. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked inviting and well-maintained. I also loved that the hotel is conveniently located next to Safeway, which made it easy to grab any essentials I needed. The only downside I found was the price; it can be noticeably higher than other hotels in the area. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable stay!

Very comfortable place to stay. Only issue is the ceiling creaked and cracked when upstairs neighbors walked around. Wish the sea lions were there, but they were out on vacation.

Excellent location, next to grocery store and Starbucks! Friendly staff, large clean rooms, and variety of breakfast foods. Only 1 elevator, but it never took long, and the stairs were clean and safe as an option!
