We arrived to a clean and comfortable room late on a Friday afternoon with miles driven behind us. I longed to go horizontal for peaceful rest but my dear bride wished otherwise. You know what I mean. So I gathered my wallet and keys to take her to eat at a local restaurant.
Our stay was largely uneventful - just as expected. However, I caution the reader to NEVER agree to room 216. It was clean. It was comfortable. It was in the elevator lobby! Every single spousal argument or alpha male contest was loudly amplified into our room. As entertaining as it was, we didn’t particularly enjoy it.
Nevertheless, we’ll not hesitate to stop here again when next our travels find us in Conway. Just don’t look for me in 216.
