Cecil Hotel

Great location, has elevator for luggage and breakfast. Rooms are not too big but are clean. Great staff

Simple family-run hotel, great location, and very friendly service. Good value for a stay in Athens, including Breakfast

We stayed at Cecil Hotel for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable, even a little more roomy than European standards. We only interracted with one front desk person and one cleaning technician during our stay. Both were lovely, and initiated conversation. The location really can't be beat. A quick walk to all of the areas that visitors tend to go. From our window we could see right down the main street to the Monastiraki Square with the Acropolis looking over it. I don't know that I would stay here for a stay of more than a few days. There is a refrigerator on each floor to be shared by everyone staying on that floor. Wouldn't have wanted to keep medication or anything large in it. But, not a deal breaker for our needs.

Great location. Clean room. Good heating/air conditioning. Have stayed before, will definitely stay again.
