A lovely welcome by the reception staff. No problems with the room and had a good breakfast.
The only very small thing I noticed was some not very clean public areas, such as the stairs and the outside windows in the staircase (very dirty). Hokwever, they did not affect our stay.
Slightly disappointed that we had to pay for hotel car parking.
Very central location, handy for the city centre and easy to navigate to.

The staff really shine in this place. Excellent, friendly, helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms were nice. The facility shows its age. There were some minor plumbing issues (shower drain backed up and toilet wouldn't flush easily). The staff responded quickly to our requests for help, but I don't think the problems were actually solved. I'd stay here again.

The constant friendliness, helpful ,humorous and down to earth attitude of the staff, made me feel at home
It seemed, culturally,a perfect, Yorkshire experience.
