Grand Hotel des Gobelins

Fantastic location with lots of local amenities close by. Staff were all courteous and helpful. We booked a "suite" which should not be advertised as such - children slept on a well worn squeaky sofa bed which, when fully extended, left a tiny amount of room to walk by to bathroom facilities. Shower was great and we were given plenty of towels. Fridge and safe in the master bedroom were good additions. Hotel is old but has character and the quirkiness was interesting.

Great location easy to reach metro to explore. Lots of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to travel far at night. Friendly staff Room was basic but very clean.

Helpful staff

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The bed was the most comfortable I’ve had in Europe, the bathroom was lovely and big and the staff were very kind. There was a bit of wear on the arms of the couch in the room but everything was clean and nice and worked properly - including the air conditioning! Will definitely stay here again
