The Clarendon Hotel - Blackheath

Great location for walking into Greenwich across the common. Handy for Uber ferry to all the attractions of London. Staff where friendly/helpful. Not sure what the rooms are like at rear of hotel in the newer building, but our room at the front was a little dated although perfectly adequate. Front rooms very hot in summer and quite a noisey road, especially the number of sirens racing past. Breakfast was good, the resturant appeared a little under used for dinner though. This was our second stay and I would stay again, might try for a room at the rear next time though.

Close to London via Southeastern train and reasonably priced. Comfortable and clean rooms (2 bedrooms for 4 people). Great full breakfast with pubs nearby. Rooms are not air conditioned, but the dining room was. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and staff.

The staff were professional and accommodating. The rooms were clean and nice, and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

We stay at the Clarendon on a regular basis whilst visiting family in London. The staff are always friendly and professional, the rooms are fairly basic but always clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable, which makes for a pleasant stay. The breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice, freshly cooked, and the staff are so hardworking and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent location, and good transport links close by.
