We love the location—close to the 14th Avenue subway station. Lobby is unique and hosts a good breakfast that comes with the room. Decor is ship-themed, with large “portholes” for windows. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. Curiously, the bathroom light never turns off fully. The bathroom is large and the shower is huge! It has the best stocked mini bar of any hotel at which I have stayed. On your second visit, they bring you a complimentary bottle of wine around 4:00 PM. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and laid back. This is now our go-to hotel for our NYC getaways.

Stayed only one night with the family in two rooms. Staff very accommodating with late check in, parking and suggestions about getting around the neighborhood.
