Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elk Grove West I-5 by IHG

Good

I had to make a last minute reservation and had no issues at check-in. Staff was very nice, even opened front door after midnight when we didn’t know where alternative entrances were. Breakfast was very good.’it was a full hot breakfast served buffet style. Well cooked scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereal, cinnamon rolls, bread, bagels, pancake maker. I was impressed with the offerings. I would stay at the hotel again and recommend it to friends and family.

I rate this hotel 3.9/5. I only stayed for one night and used a limited number of the amenities provided by the hotel. When I first got out onto the parking lot, I noticed an unpleasant smell, though inside was free of this smell. Customer service was good. The receptionist was polite and explained what was needed. We were even given the option of what floor we wanted to stay on. The elevator was slow and stalled for a few seconds longer than comfortable before the door opens. I didn’t notice any grime along the hallways, and the room we stayed in is relatively clean. The couch had a stain, but I didn’t notice anything wrong or dirty with the bed.

Very clean accomodations with great parking and personable staff
