El Sueño Hotel & Spa

My room was absolutely beautiful and such a joy to be in! The restaurant is very good and the staff are kind. The pool is too small for real swimming and it was closed, but there’s too much to see and do in Puebla anyway. The internet was a bit unstable, but I think that’s the case throughout much of Puebla.

Nicely renovated property very close to the main plaza 👍👍 my only reason for not giving 5 stars all the way is the WIFI never worked in our 4 night stay.

Breakfast was great. The Huevos tiraditos were a novelty for me that I enjoyed. The ambiance, decoration and architecture are charming and comfy. The location was perfect, right downtown with most of attracting at walking distance. However, the shower cleanliness was bad. Even after reporting it, the mold in some areas were still there. When we checked in, the overall room appearance was very good, but the second day, the beds were badly made, as if someone had sat or laid over them. I hope the management pays attention to these items because this nice place can do better.

The hotel is nice, however is lacking basics needs. Hotel is lacking a coffe maker in the room. Rooms and hotel are clean but could be better. Hotel is at a nice walking distance from main Zocalo. I am an Expedia Platinum and no welcome drink was offered. During breakfast, no basics such as sweet bread, beans or Green juice had in the morning. Overall I give them a solid 7 in a scale 1-10.
