8 / 10Doskonały·lip 2026
We had a warm welcome from all the innkeepers to this historic place, which reflects its moment in Philadelphia's long history. If you like quaint, you'll love this place! And, it needs some freshening up and updating -- the furnishings, though of the period, feel dated and a bit worn. Even some good Scandinavian room freshener and a more minimalist and modern decor would help, as would an upgraded breakfast, which was not far from something you get at a chain motel. Since I'm a baker, I'm always surprised when the offering isn't very creative or nutritious, which wouldn't take much (some non-dairy yogurts? a GF wholegrain muffin or wholegrain muffin that is not GF? A berry compote? nuts and dried fruit for cereal?). I'd love to say I'll be back, as truly the innkeepers were wonderful, but I'd want to see more investment in the guest experience, not only the historic nature of the property. Just my two cents!

This place is a hidden gem. Not only is the property super cute, the staff are so helpful and friendly. This hotel also is within walking distance of almost everything. Don’t skip on the French restaurant next door!
