The hotel was an adventure in it of itself. Enjoyed wondering the grounds and it is not a far drive to the town. Room was quite spacious.

We loved the history and uniqueness of this property. It is very clean and well maintained. We were looking forward to the outdoor patios and views of the city, but it rained the whole time we were there. So we grabbed an umbrella and walked the adjoining gardens, they were beautiful. It is a quiet, relaxing place and was less then 10 minutes drive to downtown.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in.
The location is incredible and is a 15 minute walk into town.
The service from every single member of staff has been wonderful and the young woman, Beatrix, on Reception deserves a special mention for her kindness and hospitality.
The breakfast is wonderful, the swimming pool fantastic and the stunning architecture and decor 2nd to none.
Thank you for a wonderful day and I very much hope to return and stay again
