La Confiance

Very comfortable little room away from the chaos. Quiet and clean.

We had a clean room with comfortable beds and a surprisingly large bathroom. Lying in bed, we could see the spire of the Abbey! Check-in before the walkway was smooth, and they allowed us in about an hour early. We also took the option to pay additionally for late checkout. There was coffee and tea in the room for morning and ample extra bedding and pillows. The staff was extremely helpful and kind during both checkin and checkout.

Very tired and aged property in need of a full refurbishment. Staff were friendly and breakfast was basic but adequate. A few basic changes could make the experience here so much better. Location was great on this iconic location. Having parking available was very helpful.

Our room was reasonably cheap and very adequate given its location and cost. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent albeit in a different but close by hotel. The island is car free but the car parking arrangements just off the island were great and worked really well.
