Lake Opechee Inn and Spa

A nice hotel on the edge of town right next to a lake. There is an excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel and a coffee shop, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The complimentary continental breakfast was sufficient for our needs with choices of hot drinks, juices, toast, bagels, cereals, muffins, Danish pastries and boiled eggs. The 24hr Kurig coffee machine is a great idea.

Everything about this place is wonderful. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. The rooms were exactly what we reserved. They were super clean and very well maintained. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but if you chose to spend time in your room, you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely room on the second floor with a view of the lake, partially blocked by trees. The king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi, comfortable chairs, and spaciousness of the room were much appreciated. The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff were the best part of staying at the Inn. Kathy, Tammy, and Chloe went above and beyond to help with my gluten-free needs and to provide us with driving directions, restaurant suggestions, etc. The other staff we encountered were very helpful and cheerful as well. A first-rate staff all around.
