Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa

Slight misty smell in reception - probably due to hot weather and drainage . Rooms very clean but dates these days . Coffee at breakfast has to be black with milk unless paying extra for cappuccino or latte etc . Breakfast food selection was good. Was expecting the room to have a coffee machine , or more upper class coffee bags .

Everything great

Lovely night, pool and facilities all great. Would definitely go back again. Staff are so helpful and polite. Food was amazing in the restaurant and so was breakfast Beautiful place to have a break

Arrived at 1pm and used the leisure facilities sauna, steam room , pool and spa pool collecting towels from the golf reception and hairdryers in the changing rooms was a bonus and shampoo and conditioner in the showers Went in the bar area for a drink before checking into our room at 3pm you pay a deposit of £50 and on checkout it takes 3-5 days to go back into your bank Lovely room 101 looking out onto the golf course and next to the bar area which was lovely to sit out room lovely and clean with fresh towels tea/ coffee and milk and 2 bottles of water in there to Breakfast was a little bit of a let down not for me but for my husband I thought there was lots of choice but there was no coffee and only scrambled eggs no boiled / fried and no brown / whole grain bread but plenty of different cereals/ fruit /pastries etc but other than that everything was spot on
