Hotel Palace Portoroz Operated by Minor Hotels

Beautiful property, well-appointed rooms. Heated bathroom floors were nice surprise.

You often find a 5 star hotel that is middle of the road, no better than a 4 star and completely different from 5 star in other countries. This hotel, the staff, the quality and experience are what I would call truly 5 star, actually traditionally excellent 5 star. There is nothing I would find to complain about. We had an outstanding stay which has reinvigorated my faith in service, facilities, and enjoyment. Will definitely be going back and I just wish others provided this level also.

This is a beautiful property with a with a long history that’s worth looking into. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful however buyer beware during the time that we were there they had no air-conditioning and it was extremely uncomfortable and hot overnight. During the early evening, the town lost power had which caused alarms in town to go off all night long, which made it impossible to keep the windows open. I called the front desk and they told me that in April they don’t turn the AC on other than that. The food was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
