Lobby was beautiful but lacking a comfortable temp. They run AC at a minimum but leave front door open to outside. The hallways have no ac and the room they gave me was an air conditioned room but it did not work. They did move me to a bigger, nicer room with working ac but I had to pay an additional 20 euro per night.

Carpets were worn, but who cares?
Clean room, good staff; biggest issue was the air-conditioning. With record heat waves passing through Europe, the AC in the room was barely adequate. This is true for many Italian hotels, and I’m told in some rooms, the a.c. was better than in others, but this is something to look out for.

"This hotel is extremely well located in the Old Town and ideal for a few days in Bologna . The hotel is old fashioned but elegant , and the rooms are small but functional . The staff were very helpful..."
